The NJ Zombie Walk was a huge success! Asbury Park was over run with Zombies.
The official record was broken, but I believe it was smashed, as many were not counted. It was a long wait, bitter cold and crowded. ( I have several friends that left before being counted, as well as some of the makeup artists that missed it because they were still making zombie faces!) Despite that there was so much undead, demented fun to be had. The Zombies were awesome. It was a great event, well organized and I love all of you who let us zombie-fie you!! Jason, my hat is off to you! Kudos, my undead friend!!
I would like to thank my team: Devon, Rebecca, and Taylor, as well as Eve Silver, the newly formed Central Jersey Face Paint Jam (soon to be Guild!), our new friends in the art world and all the good folks who we had the pleasure to make~up! Halloween rocks! Zombies rule!
I love Halloween! It is strange that I hate horror movies, and gory stuff of any kind. . .but I love haunted houses and making monsters! So you want to be a Zombie "...um - brains...." Are you a freshly dead zombie or have you spent some time rotting? Either way you'll need to find clothes that are old and you don't mind spoiling. To make them "realistic", give them some grass stain, rub on some dirt, spill the coffee on them, anything to make them look like you sleep in the graveyard.... Continue reading...
